DiscFinder
A stick-on disc tracker that plays a melody once a preset timer runs out, sold as a water-resistant original and a lighter, longer-timer version.
QR tags plus an app that connects a finder to a disc's owner through in-app chat, with prepaid shipping built in when meeting up is impractical.
One QR code covers every disc on an account rather than one code per disc. Discs are marked lost in the app, and a finder scanning the code, needing no app of their own, sees only that lost list, picks the right disc, and opens a chat with the owner. The return is either a handoff at the course or the app's own shipping flow, which generates a prepaid label and tracking so no address is exchanged.
The shop is the unusual part. Alongside vinyl stickers it sells a custom one-inch square QR stamp at $39.99, bundled with a fast-drying solvent ink pad chosen from around twenty colours, so the code is inked onto the plastic rather than stuck to it. Refill ink and spare pads are sold separately, and all sales are final. The iPhone app has been on the App Store since July 2026.
