Disc-i
A disc-sports coaching app that analyzes backhand, forehand, and putting form from slow-motion video.
An AI-powered coaching app that analyzes video of a throw and returns a personalized breakdown of mechanics with drills.
A video of a backhand, forehand or putt is uploaded from any angle, the throw type is detected, and about 60 seconds later a written breakdown comes back in three parts: what is working, the main issue, and a fix with a drill. A July 2026 update added a pose skeleton overlay and a side-by-side against an ideal-form reference. Follow-up questions can be typed to an automated coach, and there is a drill video library; no human coach is involved.
Since version 2.0 the app also includes a caddie that identifies discs from a photo and suggests one for a hole from a picture of the tee. It is on iOS and Android. Video is analysed on the company's servers, and the privacy policy says it is deleted within about 60 seconds. After a 3-day trial the price is $39.99 a year, and the App Store also sells single analyses at $2.99.
