FormSensei

An iPhone and Android app that analyzes disc golf throwing form from a single video with pose tracking, scores the throw, and suggests fixes and drills, with voice-logged round tracking alongside.

What to know

FormSensei was called ScoreSensei until October 2026, when version 1.2.0 renamed it and narrowed its focus to form; accounts carried over. A side-on video of one throw, filmed or uploaded, gets a skeleton overlay, a form score, and notes on reach back, x-step and plant timing, hip and shoulder rotation, and release, each with a fix and a drill. Saved analyses can be compared over time and side by side with pro form. Round tracking is still there: players talk through each hole, and the app logs scores, discs and shots and builds stats such as a 0 to 100 skill score.

More detail

One developer, Joe Vander Veen, publishes it on iPhone (iOS 17 or later) and Android. The privacy policy says videos are uploaded for processing and deleted within 24 hours, and names OpenAI and Google Gemini for written feedback. The first round and form video are free; Pro is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, and the paywall takes creator codes. It launched in April 2026.
